What is Fiber Optic Lighting?

It is a purpose-made plastic fiber, which can transmit visible light along the length. There are two varieties, End-light Fiber & Side-Light Fiber.

End-Light fiber glows at the end of the fiber. This is used for creating star fields on bottom of the swimming pools, ceilings, curtains etc. Side-Light Fiber glows all along the fiber, similar to Neon tubes. This is used for creating patterns, marking the edges of steps, bar counters, water edges of the pool etc. The light source, placed at one end of the fibers, can be programmed to change colours & make various patterns, creating breath-taking mood light patterns at the other end.
